Knowledge, especially in regards to technology, is a very powerful tool. I am a large proponent of promoting coding and the use of computers at a young age. This month I focused on making The Window Shop a more intuitive site by adding new features and playing with different layout designs. This issue is particularly of interest to me because we based it around New York Fashion Week. Being at fashion week, I was so astonished at the beauty and elegance of the designers’ shows. Every piece, the order of the models, and the lighting were all planned perfectly. I am very grateful that I was able to attend and experience something so unbelievable. On the drive home I thought about what went into all of the shows, how much work and time it took to get the whole set ready. I realized the amount of technology that was put into creating shows of that magnitude, it made me want to become more fluent with the technology that I have. Putting things such as Aaron’s new song in this issue and creating a montage from Tadashi’s show both involved using technology which led me to discover new ways to edit and code. I would like to give a special thank you to Aaron for working tirelessly with The Window Shop to put music on our website. I would also like to thank Lindsey McLaughlin for coming back and sharing with us all of the exciting things she has been pursuing. Most importantly though, I would like to thank all of you wonderful readers who support us and so loyally read every new article on The Window Shop each month. It is because of you that we continue to grow, the momentum that you give the site is truly awe-inspiring. I can not thank you enough. I hope that this month is prosperous, exciting, and filled with new opportunities to learn more.
